Mundane Horoscope of Norway:
Secession from Sweden

     Norway: Secession from Sweden

Source: "Secession from Sweden took place on 7 June 1905 at a session of the Storthing (parliament) in Oslo. The Storthing met at 10:00 a.m. in closed session to consider the motion to secede and at 10:30 a.m. the public were admitted. The Prime Minister then read a short statement announcing the resignation of the Government, followed by the reading of the declaration of the dissolution of the union with Sweden. The horoscope for Norwegian independence ... is therefore set for an estimated time of 11:00 a.m." Campion, "The Book of World Horoscopes," (Second Edition, 1996), p. 271.
