[Least-aspected Mercury] [Uranus]
Germany surrendered unconditionally to the western Allies and Russia at 2:41 A.M. French time today ... The surrender took place at a little red schoolhouse which is the headquarters of General Eisenhower.
–From the front page of the New York Sun, May 7, 1945.
When the Nazis surrendered to the Allies on May 7, 1945 in Reims, France, Primary Uranus was positioned precisely above the eastern German border in its vertical, midnight position. Besides symbolizing “dynamic reversals” of conditions, Uranus symbolizes “liberation and freedom.” (See my previous essay: “Nazi Party founded.”)
